{simple home} bedroom details part two

"Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful". William Morris.

You may remember a few months ago I posted about my {simple home} project and kicking it all off were the improvements I made to my tiny bedroom. You can check out that post here if you haven't previously read it. Today though I wanted to show a couple of new additions to the space, all of which I think gives the room a little more colour and personality.

A couple of purchases were made in Sheffield on Saturday - the first that beautiful little duck egg ceramic pot and succulent from Swallows and Damsons as well as the concrete planter that is nestled in the macrame hanger. The plant in the hanger is known as 'String of Hearts' or to give it it's proper name, 'Ceropegia Woodii'. I ordered it a while ago from Ebay and have been growing it on for a couple of months on a sunny windowsill. So far it's doing pretty well. The hanging planter was from Moonko in Sheffield and I love those little copper bead details.

As for the wall hangings, well aren't they just perfect? They are from Etsy shop, Bygone Press. Made from canvas, they are digital prints taken from original vintage images. I'm so happy I stumbled upon these. Only trouble was choosing which ones to buy! x
