Weekending - Leeds Waterfront Festival
Yesterday we spent the day with some new friends.
We went to the amazing Thwaite Mills in Leeds to celebrate Leeds Waterfront Festival.
All the locations were connected by a free open topped vintage bus.
It's on at various different locations and venues across the city, but as we had a little one with us we thought it would be better to go to the more family friendly one.
And I'm so glad we did, for we had one of the best days ever!
There was bouncy castles, face painting, arts trails, badge making and designing your own bunting.
We had entertainment from folk musicians and morris dancers.
But best of all was the chance to go up and down the Leeds - Liverpool Canal on a narrowboat.
The kids all even got a chance to be Captain, taking a turn at the helm!
The sun shone, then it rained, then it was sunny again, then more rain.
But hey ho, we carried on regardless.
Good times! x
