The Great Gatsby - Part Two

I always think Carey Mulligan is fantastic.
I remember watching her years ago in Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightley. And then in the best ever episode of Doctor Who - 'Blink'.
But she really came to promenence in An Education, which she was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar.
She's a really beautiful looking girl and a great actress. And she always looks effortlessly stylish.
I think more than anything, she looks like a real person. And I like that in my movie stars.
So I was pretty excited to see the trailer and the pictures of her in The Great Gatsby. I haven't read it for years, so I'm going to get a copy this week and remind myself of the storyline. Of course, this movie version is by Baz Luhrmann, director of Romeo and Juliet, Moulin Rouge and one of my all time favourite movies, Strictly Ballroom. So expect some craziness along the way.
I leave you with the trailer - it looks pretty spectacular and check out my earlier post, a Great Gatsby themed Etsy treasury. x
