Wow! It's been a long time since I last posted on here. But sometimes it's good to take a break and come back with a bit more energy. It's been quite a couple of weeks here in the Birdie household. I've been working a lot, then I had a gorgeous lunch in London with several blogger friends (who were just an amazing and utterly inspiring group of women), no photographs were taken by me as I was too busy enjoying myself. Then the next day, the Boy projectile vomited on my head. And that was pretty much an indication of what was to come - one by one, we all went down with a gastric flu type illness. We're only now starting to be able to eat again!
Before the vomiting began though, I'd been doing a bit of painting in my bedroom. As much as I like the white walls throughout my home I've been transfixed by this home above for months. What I love especially is how beautifully the white works with varying shades of grey. Then, throw in those natural wood tones from vintage pieces of furniture and the neon pinks and oranges in the textiles - it's stunning. So inspired by this gorgeous London home, I've been painting my bedroom a pale grey colour, and I love it. However, I only got half the room done before we got sick so I've a lot to finish this week!
The couple who live in this home are also the owners of one of my favourite online stores Future and Found. They have a lovely blog too where they are currently showing a new property that they are renovating. I for one, can't wait to see what they come up with. x
