52 Weeks of Happy (42/52)
I'm playing catch up again this week with 52 Weeks! But to be fair, I have been away in Scotland. So these are my happies for the week:
^^ There seem to be a profusion of butterflies this year, I've spotted so many Cabbage Whites and Red Admirals, but I was thrilled to see the Peacock butteflies gracing my Buddleja in the front garden. They are so beautiful but very difficult to capture a shot of as they move so darned quickly!
^^ Sweetpeas from the garden - the scent is simply gorgeous. I've used my little vintage enamel teapot as a makeshift vase for them. I like the pinks, purples and whites set against that vibrant blue shade.
^^ The Boy found a new way to entertain himself whilst we were packing for our holiday! He just made me laugh and laugh when I found him doing this.
^^ The first of the courgettes from the Market Garden. We grow 6 different varieties, and I roasted these ones with a red onion as the basis for a summertime lasagne. I so enjoy cooking at this time of year. There is just so much colour to be had on your plate.
Have a happy week all. x
