Last Week and Weekending
Hope you have all had a great week.
My week was extremely busy. I was running the Market Garden last week and spent a lot of time on the road delivering all the produce to restaurants and delis around Yorkshire. It meant early starts and long days so I wasn't around much here and if I've missed any vital information - hit me with it now in the comments and I'll go catch up!
The Boy had a great week as he was voted in as School Councillor - a role he was desperate to get - so he is over the moon. We'll have to wait and see if he is cut out for politics!
And I got a very exciting email offering me a little design job! So I am very busy working on that this week and I'll be showing the results (hopefully) on Friday.
So yesterday the Boy and I had a day out on our own as the husband was working this weekend. We went to the National Media Museum in Bradford - one of our very favourite places to go to. I've written about it previously here and here. We always have such a good time as there is so much to see and do. The Boy particularly enjoys his time in the Game Zone, where you can play the likes of Pac Man and Space Invaders - all on original consoles. I was amazed to discover that I still knew how to play on a ZX Spectrum! (remember them?) But our favourite place to hang out is the animation floor where you can see actual sets from Wallace and Gromit, The Wombles and Andy Pandy. I did take a few pictures but as the lighting is very strong and you get lots of reflection from the glass cases it's difficult to get the best shots. Anyhoo here are some of my old-skool favourites for you to reminisce over.
Can you all remember the Smash song?! x
